As we discussed on the phone, there's a particular fitment methodology and if not fitted correctly the seat cover can be incredibly loose at the front section of the cover (the issue you were having).

Through speaking with you, we realised we needed to revise our fitting instructions to make it a bit clearer about the fitment process to avoid any fitment issues for future customers.

Hi Mark, further to our discussion, you had ordered seat covers for the 2nd gen Amarok when in fact you have the 1st Gen. It would be greatly appreciated if you could please delete the review, as it's been no fault of ours that the incorrect product was selected at the time of checkout.

Hi Karen, thank for your time on the phone. Since we've spoken, we have now updated our fitting instructions, as it would appear a number of customers have not understood the correct fitment of the front of the cushion. Step 9 covers off specifc instructions on how they will stay in place and hug the contours of the seat correctly. If they are not positioned correctly at the front of the seat caution, it will cause the angled designed to be positioned incorrectly and will naturally want to lift. If fitted correctly they will not move

We have since spoken to Anthony who advised that the fitting instructions were not read. He sent through photos in which we could see that the product had not been fitted correctly. We have sent through a digital copy of the fitting instructions, which will ensure that the cushion sits correctly as has been designed.

Hi Anthony,

I've tried to contact you this morning, but I am yet to hear back from you. From what you are describing, I suspect you have misfitted the product. In Step 8 of our fitting instructions (which were emailed through to you and a QR code provided with the goods) we showcase an incorect fitment of the seat cover, whereby the seat cover is sitting far too forward at the front of the cushion. There is a particular fitment methodology to our front seat covers, and if it hasn't been followed it won't sit correctly at the front of the seat. You need to feed excess neoprene and the dowel pocket through the gap of the cushion and backrest section to ensure that it is positioned correctly. It's a very easy fix and providing the fitting instructions are followed it will sit correctly on the cushion section.

Hi Anton, thanks for your time on the phone earlier. As mentioned to you today, the front section needs to be aligned correctly. The Amarok seat covers are highly contoured so in the event that it is not sitting at the appropriate angle it will lift up. As mentioned in the fitting instructions, it is critical that not only does the dowel pocket feed through the gap of the cushion and backrest section, but also excess neoprene needs to be pushed through this gap. This enables the seat cover to still fit when it is in both the fully reclined position and also the upright position.

We determined that you had not correctly positioned the front section of the seat cover, which was leaving a significant amount of slack at the front section of the seat cover. As mentioned in our fitting instructions, the front section needs to be aligned correctly. The Amarok seat covers are highly contoured so in the event that it is not sitting at the appropriate angle it will lift up.
